Dr. Hartwick will be elaborating on and consolidating some of the vast scientific test data that has been compiled. He will assist the Company and potential investors in interpreting the data and advise the company on how to present the technical information to finance sources and commercialize the technology.
"As we received consistent, encouraging information from the university that conducted testing at our Baytown facility, we felt it wise to retain someone of Dr. Hartwick's stature and reputation to help disseminate in layman's terms how effective and efficient the SSTP process is," stated Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, M. BAYTOWN, TX--(Marketwire - 12/17/09) - Sustainable Power Corp. (Pinksheets:SSTP - News) is pleased to report that a team of professors, scientists and graduate students from the world-renowned Texas A&M University has independently analyzed its proprietary green energy technology. The tests were conducted in a manner dictated by the Texas A&M scientists maintaining a full chain of custody throughout the process to determine the purported differences of the process with and without the catalyst. This is a follow-up to Sustainable Power Corp's April 27, 2009 announcement that it had engaged a major University to commence testing of the biofuel green energy technology to which it holds an exclusive US license.
Among other reasons, Sustainable Power Corp. selected Texas A&M University because it is a research-intensive institution with 10 colleges and a nationally recognized faculty that was ranked 5th by US News and World Reports and first in the nation by The Washington Monthly for "tangible contributions to the public interest."
The Texas A&M team which analyzed the proprietary SSTP process was lead by Professor Joseph King, Chief of Staff, Texas AgriLife Research - International Programs - Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture. The team consisted of four research professors from diverse fields and a group of graduate students.
Texas AgriLife Research comprises 13 research centers with a staff of 1,700, including 375 doctoral-level scientists who are nationally recognized experts in their field. Among the fields of research concentration is Bioenergy.
Sustainable Power will shortly announce the results from the Texas A&M's report on the Company's process for converting biomass to liquid fuel, flammable gas, and biochar after a review of the report is completed by Sustainable Power's Technical Advisory Board headed by Dr. Thomas Hartwick.

BAYTOWN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/01/10 -- Sustainable Power Corp. (PINKSHEETS: SSTP) today published, on its website (www.sstp.us ), a public summary of the report produced by Texas A&M University scientists on the company's licensed catalytic pyrolysis process to produce Vertroleum® biofuels, biochars, and biogas.
M. Richard Cutler, President and CEO, advised that, "We spent many months and a lot of hard work with the fantastic team from Texas A&M working through the testing and findings, and are now pleased to publish the findings for our shareholders to peruse. The tests confirm what we knew all along... our licensed technology is fantastic and will change how we look at energy for the future. Because we have to protect our confidential technology, we felt we needed a report of the findings which provide comprehensible results, yet does not release sensitive competitive information."
The summary was prepared by SSTP's Technical Advisory Board and newly appointed Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer, Michael Garjian, who stated, "The Texas A&M report is unambiguous in its verification of our licensed process. The quantities and quality of output biofuels, biochars, and biogas is extraordinary and this verification paves the way to a new era for SSTP."
