HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/07/09 -- SatMAX Corp. (PINKSHEETS: SATM), a leading global provider of wireless, non-line-of-sight satellite communications products and services to the $46 billion ground-based satellite communications industry, announced today a new reseller agreement with Portsmouth, NH-based GlobaFone. GlobaFone was recently awarded United States General Services Administration contract number GS-35F-0074W within the Schedule 70 program.Under the GSA co ntract, GlobaFone is offering the US-made Iridium products, services and accessories, including the SatMAX® line of satellite communications extenders to U.S. governmental departments and agencies. GlobaFone currently provides Iridium and INMARSAT satellite communications services to dozens of Federal Agencies. GlobaFone has also agreed to resell SatMAX® advanced satellite communications systems to its Iridium- and Inmarsat -user customers.

SatMAX® is an advanced communications system that enables users to quickly and easily make fully wireless, satellite voice and data communications available from any non-line-of-sight location. With SatMAX®, customers have the ability to access dependable and uninterrupted satellite communication from indoor locations. Available as both fixed and mobile units, SatMAX® creates a satellite communications "hotspot," allowing maximum flexibility by enabling multiple callers to use Iridium-based satellite phones in both indoor and outdoor settings.
SatMAX Corporation designs and manufactures wireless, and non-line-of-sight satellite communications products and services for government, military, commercial, and industrial customers. The company principally manufactures and sells wireless satellite communications repeaters. It offers SatMAX iridium based satellite repeater systems for portable and fixed applications; SatMAX iridium testing systems for aviation and technology companies; and HeliSAT3 iridium based satellite communications repeater systems for portable and aircraft government applications. The company also designs, installs, and remotely monitors networks of Internet protocol addressable video cameras, primarily for schools and universities, and for government housing projects. In addition, SatMAX Corporation provides satellite services through its Inmarsat-4 that delivers broadband data and voice through one device. It serves government agencies, the U.S. military, healthcare organizations, petrochemical industry, educational organizations, aviation industry, state and local agencies, first responders, and AID agencies. SatMAX Corporation distributes its products through commissioned salesmen and licensed resellers. The company was formerly known as Echo Satellite Communications, Inc. and changed its name to SatMAX Corporation in December 2008. SatMAX Corporation was founded in 2001 and is based in Houston, Texas.

(Pinksheets:SATM - News), a leading global provider of wireless, non-line-of-sight satellite communications products and services to the $46 billion ground-based satellite communications industry, announced today a new reseller agreement with Houston-based TLC Engineering, Inc. ("TLC"). TLC (http://www.tlceng.com/) was recently awarded United States General Services Administration contract (number GS10F0267T within the Schedule 871-PES program.)
TLC has agreed to offer the SatMAX® line of satellite communications extenders to U.S. Governmental Departments and Agencies as well as State and local government customers that are our First Responder agencies. TLC currently serves several Federal Agencies and local governmental entities throughout the Gulf Coast region, including FEMA, the City of Houston, and the Houston Metropolitan Transportation Authority. TLC holds contracts for disaster recovery and relief for a major portion of the Gulf Coast including Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
