Q: I click on those fancy links in the middle of WPS's content and it kills my internet browser!
A: The Wepickstocks.net website uses content rich multimedia pop-up links by Apache.com. The links open interactive stock charts, wikipedia articles, financial statements, pictures, youtube and hulu videos and wayyyy more. To use these content rich links it is suggested you get the latest version of IE explorer or Mozilla Firefox (HIGHLY recommended). Please also make sure that they are updated with all media plug-ins. If still not working, try clicking on the question mark in the bottom right of the popup box (if it opens) and disable animations.

Q: What happens to my blog after I post it?
A: In the top right you will see a link called 'member blog.' Your blog will post there. This is a great place to post new plays or experiences. You can also you it to find other stock picks, info and DD.

Q: How do I send people private messages?
A: Click on their name and look in their profile. There will be a 'send this person a message' link. Another way is by clicking the button that looks like mail under a persons name in the forums.

Q: What is the difference between the two Chat boxes?
A: Talkinator is a public chat. The other IMer is a private IM. You can use this to talk to anyone on your friend list.

Q: Do all my posts go to twitter.com
A: Yes. BUT you can make it not post to twitter if you have some vendetta by unclicking the post to twitter button underneath the body of your post. You will see it.

Q: How to I post something in full HTML?
A: Under the message you are writing, click the 'input format' link and switch it from all formats to full html.

Q: How do I add someone as a friend?
A: Refer to the question about private messages... Same way.

Q: I like to insult people's intelligence like I do on Yahoo, Google, and Ihub. Is that okay here?
A: No. This is a for website for people who just want to relax and talk about stocks... There is a flag user button on most nodes. Depending on the extent, you could get a warning to a full ban.

Q: Will I get in trouble if I post a link to my website?
A: Only if you are advertising. That is perfectly fine in most cases for referencing to pictures, graphs, and such, and although not required, if you want to link to your site, we would love if you direct a link to us. If you want to advertise, talk to us about a deal...

Q: What can I make my personal pages about?
A: Anything besides adult content. Preferably about finance, business, real estate, and securities, but anything you want. Its all you page. (No forms please)
