HCKI (pink sheets) was up 100% on funding news. It seems to have broke out in the near term and could continue up after the company announced expansion plans and $7 million extra funding for its expansion. Watch out, could be a big gainer!

PTEN to Rebound

Patterson UTI Energy, Inc (NASD:PTEN) stock looks to rebound after falling to $13.25 from a previous high of over $18.50. The falling wedge pattern suggests a bounce back to around $17.00 could happen within 4 months. This would complete a common head and shoulders pattern. Utilities and energy sectors have all proven strong and should help carry this stock up.

Matthew Brown, founder of Orange County stock board InvestorsHub.com, pleaded guilty today to four counts of stock fraud and money laundering. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. Brown entered his plea in U.S. District Court in Delaware.
